THE BIBLICAL ORIGN OF EASTER AND HOLY WEEK
WHY DOES THE DATE FOR EASTER CHANGE EACH YEAR?
The Greek church observes Holy week one week after the Protestant and Catholic churches, and they observe the Resurrection on different dates. The reason for these changes can be found in ancient calendars so let's take a look at ancient calendars to understand the reason for this change. The Romans are calculating the date of Easter using the 354-day Hebrew calendar which uses moon phases to determine dates which makes the date of Easter a movable date however, in Genesis 1:14 Adam was told to observe the movement of the lights in order to determine the days, time and seasons. What lights did Adam use to determine the seasons?
Notice the bible uses the phrase" to determine the seasons." Does this mean we are to use the seasons to determine the holidays or holy days and by the way are they the same? It seems to me the original seasons were fixed dates and the conquerors of the ancient world have switched the original system of calculating the holiday days from Solar to Lunar. The question is should we use the sun or the moon to determine the date for easter.
DID JESUS RESURRECT DURING THE FIRST WEEK OF SPRING?
For the Christians the question is did Jesus rise on the week of spring and did the Romans change the original date? The Romans, Greeks, and Asians (Hebrews) use a lunar based calendar, and this is the reason the dates of holy week fluctuate. The moon reflects light it is not a light therefore is it mandatory to use a lunar based calendar instead of the fixed solar calendar?
NOAH AND THE ORIGIN OF EASTER
Most bible scholars now know the world and the events in the bible are older than 2000 years and because the bible says there is nothing new under the sun, we know the ancient world was just as civilized as the modern world (something European explorer were ignorant to). Something else to consider is many of the holidays are centered around the opening and exiting of the Ark and his possible appointment as a king during the first week of spring or the Equinix. There are some theologians believe the original date of the resurrection is the first day of spring also known as the vernal and autumn equinox.
GENESIS 1:14 AND ANCIENT CALENDARS
The first farmers honored the harvest and sowing seasons and would observe the new seasons. The Eastern Orthodox church is using the calendar created during the rule of Julius Ceasar, this calendar has 365 days, and we know it's an adaptation because it is only 2776 years old. This church observes Easter as the Pachons and it is always after Easter. Not sure yet why it is a movable date.
The Roman Catholic church is using the 365-day Gregorian which begins with the rule of Augustine Luke 2:1 but was created hundreds of years after Augustine died. The Hebrew Calendar has 354 days like most calendars of Asia but their calendar is 5783 years old and begins with the rule of Pharoah Namara or (Nimrod)
The Kametic or Noach calendar was 365 days and began with the rule of Noach (NK) or it could be as old as the ancestor Adam but the holidays are centered around the movement of the solar system and the moon phases. Genesis 1:14. We should be able to determine the days today in the same manner as the ancient people, how did they do it?
If we use a solar based calendar Easter would be during the week of the vernal/autumn equinox (Spring) and the Pentecost would be during the week of the solstice (Summer) keeping in line with Genesis 1:14. this date would be in line with the harvest and sowing as well as he events in Genesis 7 and 8 the flood of the ancestor Noah. Something that Jesus himself would honor and observe.
